Just like her ‘Grey’s Anatomy’ character, Dr. April Kepner, Sarah Drew is also happily married with two children. The lucky guy is Peter Lanfer, who is a lecturer at UCLA. When asked by Hollywood Reporter about their love story, the actress can’t help but gush as to how her husband wooed her the old-fashioned way.
The pair first met when they both worked as camp counselors—when they parted ways, Lanfer courted Drew through love letters. That went on for eight months until they saw one another in person again. So naturally, their first date followed, and a week later, a romantic proposal from the professor.
