Once again, Katie was approached by the foster agency, but this time it was an entirely different case. Unlike other children she had taken care of earlier, this was a newborn baby boy who was abandoned by his mother. For some reason though, she couldn’t resist accepting the case.
Besides, the child was in need of immediate help and the foster agency didn’t have time to find someone more experienced.
