Leonard Nimoy was the reason the character named Spock from the 1966’s Star Trek series gained wide popularity among the viewers. In his long-running career where he worked as an actor, filmmaker, photographer, and singer, there was a period of 18 months when he served as an Army personnel.
With other duties, the actor also spent some time in the entertainment branch where he wrote and presented shows for fellow soldiers.
