Adam Sandler may be one of the wealthiest entertainers around, but he almost gave up acting at one point. While studying at NYU, the comedian was advised by one of his professors to quit because he “didn’t have IT.” Of course, Sandler did not heed the advice and became one of Hollywood’s biggest stars.
Like other comedians in movies, the actor got his acting break by appearing in ‘Saturday Night Live’ early in his career. From making just enough to get by, Sandler’s pay today is around $50 to $60 million annually. Those are accumulated from movie paychecks, endorsements, and his Happy Madison Production company earnings.
