What does Bill Gates do with his Microsoft Money? Apart from making real estate investments that ensure high returns, he also splurges on expensive supercars, such as a Porsche 911. It’s one of his earliest purchases with his Microsoft money, but he says that it was only a “bit of splurge”.
Though he still owns a number of luxury cars, Gates actually sold it off back in the 1990s. One of the new owners of the car later auctioned it off for $80,000.
