June Lockhart became popular in the ‘50s and the ‘60s for performing in TV shows like Lassie and Lost in Space. She also won the Tony Award in 1948 for her role on Broadway’s For Love or Money. With a career span of over seven decades, her acting portfolio isn’t just filled with films and shows but also with experiences.

But she retired in 2017, and now, these experiences are like a treasured trophy. At the age of 94, June keeps herself busy by working with various causes. For being an inspiration to the public concerning exploring space, NASA awarded Lockhart with the Exceptional Public Achievement Medal in 2013.
