CELEBRITIES YOU THOUGHT ARE LONG GONE BUT THEY’RE STILL ALIVE AND KICKING
Maggie Smith: 86, $20 Million
Reputed English actress Maggie Smith has been gracing the screen and stage for more than 65 years now, and it seems like the audiences are going to see her perform in the future as well. We don’t know which of these has a higher count – the number of movies she acted in or the awards she received for her amazing work.
No wonder the megastar was made a Dame for her contributions to the acting industry. As of now, Maggie is busy filming for her latest project – A Boy Called Christmas which is a film adaptation of Matt Haig’s book with the same title.
Susan Tully: 53, $5 Million
Actor turned director Susan Tully is predominantly known for the BBC soap opera EastEnders and was one of its leading characters for 11 years. She started her career at the age of nine, and by the time she was in her teens, the actress successfully made a name for herself in the industry.
What piqued Susan’s interest was life behind the camera, and she decided to focus on directing shows instead of acting. Today, this star may not appear on television, but she’s undoubtedly working her magic off the screen. Still, we miss her brilliance, so we hope she makes a cameo in one of her shows someday.
Linda Gray: 81, $12 Million
You may recognize Linda Gray from her famous role as Sue Ellen Ewing on the critically acclaimed television series ‘Dallas,’ for which she won two Golden Globe awards. Still, that wasn’t the actress’s only famous role; she has starred in countless blockbuster films like ‘Oscar,’ ‘Reflections of a Life,’ and ‘Hidden Moon’ among others.
The former model is still actively engaged in the motion picture business, and despite being in her eighties, she’s not showing signs of slowing down. Apart from being in front of the camera, Gray is also a seasoned producer and director, with numerous productions under her belt.
